Naturally we must be aware in focusing on a one way link building to get a position in the search results. To have a successful website we should have plenty of links to them.

Directories - This is where submissions be done. There are other free directories that can be very helpful especially for internet marketing purposes. However, this list focuses on SEO advantages only. All those that use a redirected link are out, as are those directories that do not even have their content pages spider.

  1. Site must be submitted first to the directories: if there's a blog on the site, it should be submitted to blog directories.
  2. Do article writings which are useful including your link and submit to article directories.
  3. Press Release articles must be submitted to PR directories for urgent links as well as back links when news sites accept the release up.
  4. Research for local and niche specific directories and do the site submission to them.

  1. Create accounts on social networks and earn more friends (ex. StumbleUpon and Digg). To get chances of increasing people to link on your site vote and bookmarks your friend's site and they will do the same for you.
  2. Propose to write a guest post on a major blog in your niche and link to your own site in the post.

  3. Do an affiliate program that would help you to enhance your business visibility and as a result it will increase links.
